I'm Becca, a documentary family photographer and toddler mom living in the beautiful, unhurried pace of Nicaragua. I picked up my camera for the same reason you're probably here. I wanted to hold onto my own family's moments before they were gone. The sticky hands, the belly laughs, the quiet in-between stuff that makes up a life. It started personal, and it still is.

Living in Nicaragua has shaped the way I see everything. Life here is slow and simple in the best way, and it's given me more space to notice what actually matters, inside my own family and inside yours. That unhurried pace is something I bring into every session. There's no rushing, no forcing. Just time and attention, and whatever unfolds.

Here's what I know as a mom: the seasons feel endless while you're in them. You're up at 2am changing diapers, convinced this phase will last forever, and then one day you reach for those little leg rolls and they're just gone. Your toddler is standing in front of you demanding a bedtime snack and you're not sure when that happened. The hard seasons pass, but so do the precious ones. That's exactly why this work matters to me. I want to freeze the tender, fleeting years before they slip through your fingers, the real version of your family, right now, exactly as you are.
